Dayli Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Dayli.

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You meet the minimum age requirement, and
• You are legally permitted to use the Service under applicable laws.

Dayli does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have done so, we will take steps to delete such information.

2. Account Registration & Authentication

To use Dayli, you must create an account using a supported authentication method (such as Google, Apple, or email).

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your account information up to date
• Maintain the security of your login credentials

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Core Features of Dayli

Dayli currently offers the following core functionality:

a. Daily One-Minute Video Calls

• Dayli enables one video call per day, at a designated time.
• Calls last exactly one minute and end automatically.
• You will only see who you are matched with after joining the call.
• Calls are limited to people from your synced contacts who are also Dayli users.

b. No Recording or Monitoring

• Dayli does not record, store, or process video or audio content from calls.
• Dayli does not monitor calls in real time.
• You acknowledge that Dayli cannot control or guarantee the behavior of other users during calls.

c. Contact Sync

• You may choose to sync contacts from your device to help identify friends who are already on Dayli.
• Contact syncing is optional, and you may select which contacts to share.
• By syncing contacts, you confirm that you have the right to share this information.
• Dayli uses contact information solely for friend discovery and connection purposes.

4. User Conduct & Safety

You agree to use Dayli respectfully and responsibly.

You may not:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate others
• Engage in nudity, sexual content involving minors, or illegal activity
• Impersonate another person
• Use the Service for spam or harmful purposes
• Attempt to exploit or disrupt the Service

You understand that:

• Live interactions carry inherent risk
• Dayli is not responsible for user behavior during calls
• You participate in calls at your own discretion and risk

5. Screenshots & Recordings

Dayli does not enable recording or screenshots, but other users may use external tools (e.g., screen recording).

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Dayli is not responsible for screenshots, recordings, or distribution of content by other users
• You should not share anything during calls that you would not want recorded or shared

6. Suspension & Termination

Dayli reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your account at any time
• Do so with or without notice
• Act at our sole discretion, including for safety concerns or violations of these Terms

Dayli has no obligation to provide an explanation for enforcement actions.

5. Beta Disclaimer

Dayli may be in an early or beta stage.

You acknowledge that:

• Features may change, be removed, or stop functioning
• The Service may experience downtime or errors
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability

6. Privacy

Your use of Dayli is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

By using Dayli, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All Dayli software, branding, designs, and content are owned by Dayli Inc. or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dayli Inc. and its founders shall not be liable for:

• User behavior during video calls
• Emotional distress or interpersonal harm
• Data loss or service interruptions
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

You use Dayli at your own risk.

9. Modifications to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app or other reasonable means. Continued use of Dayli after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
